Eclipse Xtend: A language made for Java developers

Michiel Crefcoeur
I just found out about this new language, thought it would be useful to share it on the list:

It's a language that compiles to Java but looks a bit more like haXe code.
It supports closures, type inference and multiple dispatch (like "using" in haXe).

I suppose it would be easier to target than Java but doing so would require 2 compile steps.
So maybe the Java target that's currently under development could benefit from the Xtend sourcecode?

Cheers,
Michiel
